One notable absence is Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who announced on Instagram that he won’t be entering this year’s auction:

“After many unforgettable seasons in IPL, I’ve decided not to put my name into the auction this year. It’s a big call, and one I make with a lot of gratitude for everything this league has given me.”

Maxwell expressed his appreciation for the IPL journey, stating how playing in India has shaped him as both a cricketer and a person.
